For the CPU, we are talking about roughly hundreds of drivers for which you have to calculate a path every ~10 minutes (IRL) each time they take a new job, and this is not synchronized with all drivers, so no CPU burst. Then, simulating the drivers behaviour can be made in dual-precision:

Step 4: Now you have the driver with the longest hours left and the truck details, you want to click on "Drive It". It's on the far right of the row where it says "Relocate" "Sell" and "Upgrade". It is useful to train the drivers in ADR skills (at least one ADR skill) early in the game as those jobs pay double the base rate. Then train them in long distance for at least one skill point. Jobs can combine "Just in Time" with "High Value" or "Fragile", so learn "Just in Time" skill early.
