I flew this Japan Airlines Boeing 777-300ER configuration from LAX to Narita airport. Overall I was very satisfied with this economy class seat. Seat width and pitch are generous and in flight service was excellent. The seats can be a little on the hard side, but do have decent back support.

The airline operates Air New Zealand Flight 1 on a Boeing 777-300ER, which originates in London, flies to L.A. and then continues on to Auckland (AKL) — all with the same flight number. One of the aspects I enjoy the most about premium economy is the cabin size. It's much smaller and more intimate than the main cabin. There are only five rows in a 2-4-2 configuration for a total of 40 seats on the Boeing 777-300ER, just behind the main business-class cabin.
